Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Digital Applications Support Apprentice to join our friendly, client-focused team. With a portfolio of properties mainly in the City Centre and West End, we are looking for an apprentice who is an excellent communicator and can work efficiently both on their own initiative and as part of our team. Full training will be provided but the successful candidate will ideally be used to dealing with people both on the phone and via email and be able to demonstrate a high level of accuracy alongside being knowledgeable in Microsoft packages.
What skills will I learn?
As an apprentice you will be working towards your SCQF level 6 diploma in Digital applications support. You will be helping our in various areas of the business where a wide range of digital applications will be used. Some of your responsibilities can include:
- Answer incoming calls
- Inputting a paperwork using collaborative technologies
- General Digital Applications duties including answering the phone, entering and managing data on internal computer systems and being the first line of IT Support
- Corresponding with clients and partners via email
- Liaising with maintenance personnel
- Dealing with utility companies and local councils
- Other tasks as required
What qualifications or qualities are required?
- Use of digital applications such as Microsoft excel, word, teams & outlook essential
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Ability to work well within a team as well as autonomously
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to organise, schedule and adapt work tasks to meet changing situations
- Ability to pay attention to detail and maintain accuracy
- The ability to communicate with clients using collaborative technologies (teams, outlook, etc)
