We are looking for a hard working young person to come on and learn all about recruitment and marketing with the view of running the department by the end of the apprenticeship. You’ll be responsible for promoting apprenticeships across Scotland though social media and also attending events. You’ll be given the flexibility to make this role your own and all your ideas on promotion will be listened to.
You’ll also assist the operations administrator with admin duties.
What will I learn?
Advertising all apprenticeship vacancies
– Updating the website with vacancies
– Pre screening all candidates and eventually learning to interview them
– Updating Social Media
– General Admin duties
– Attending careers fairs and school events
– Attending meetings with clients to discuss apprenticeship vacancies
For this position we need a real people’s person. Your role will involve interacting with young people just like yourself to find out about them and match them to the best possible apprenticeship vacancy. You’ll have a great telephone manner and great attention to detail. You will receive full training and support to build up your confidence in the role.
We would love to work with someone creative who can create eye catching social media posts as well as writing engaging copy to help grow our social media following.
Excellent time keeping and manners are essential. You will be joining a small team and we all help each other out across the board, so you must be willing to help out in all areas, which will be great for your career development.
What qualification or qualities are required?
No experience is required, but an interest in admin is essential.
Nat 5s in English, Admin and Graphic Design are desirable, but not essential.
