You will be responding to system triggered alerts on supported customer and in-house systems, including restarting services, diagnosing hardware failures and analysing system and application log files for software issues.

The job demands a 37.5 hour working week where you will also be responsible for analysing alerts from our group monitoring tool, triaging automated alerts from customer systems & using incident management to manage these issues for our customer base.

New incidents and alarm logging with the appropriate priority is key, as is ensuring they are responded to and resolved within contracted SLA’s. No two days are ever the same.

Role Overview • Job Title: Operations Team Apprentice • Apprenticeship Salary: £12,480 • Working Hours: Mon – Fri (excluding Bank Holidays): 37.5hrs • Department: Service Desk • Responsible to: Service Desk Manager • Locations: In Proact we work hybrid, we are a tech company after all. You will work a minimum of a day a week in our Eurocentral, Holytown, Motherwell tech hub. The rest of your time can be remote. • Support further professional development: We’ll support you through your programme with access to mentors and investment in specialist skills and qualifications. • Guaranteed permanent role: At the end of the apprenticeship, we’ll offer you a guaranteed permanent role with a starting salary of £27,300, provided you complete your probationary period and qualification (subject to open position becoming available)

Are you ready to take the first step of your career in Digital Administration? We have an exciting opportunity in our client’s head office. You’ll be joining a friendly and hardworking team with lots of opportunity to progress.

You’ll be coached and mentored throughout your apprenticeship whilst working towards your diploma.

What might a typical day in this job look like?

This will be a varied role and you will be providing direct support to the business and you will be an integral part of the team. You will be responsible for general admin duties such as answering telephones, responding to queries and keeping all records up to date.

You will be working with a great deal of digital applications in this role, including databases, electronic diaries and various other software packages which will allow you to develop IT skills.

What will I learn?

During your first year, you will work toward your diploma in digital application support. This will be done through work based learning. You will have both a mentor in the workplace as well as your own assessor to support you through your qualification. You will get real life work experience whilst learning with the added bonus of getting paid for it too!

You will become computer literate throughout your time here.
