What will I learn?

  • You will learn about administration in general, how to be organised, manage deadlines and priorities, work in a team and to be a self-starter. This will include filing and scanning as well as learning how to use the companies admin systems
  • You will learn to develop and professionalise your communication skills in many ways as you will be managing the phoneline, communicating via email and other media channels.
  • You will learn how to use all Microsoft packages such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

What qualification or qualities are required?

  • Admin knowledge or experience
  • Experience speaking to people via telephone or face to face
  • Ability to send professional emails and draft letters
  • Ability to keep electronic files organised and up to date as well as paper copies
  • Attention to detail, you will be able to input the correct fees and outlays are logged on the system.
  • You must be a self-starter that are able to work without supervision and are driven and determined to complete a task to the best of your ability.
  • You must be willing to work in your own time to work towards achieving your diploma.
  • You must be confident and outgoing but have the ability to listen to others.
  • You must be reliable to complete tasks to a high standard and to meet deadlines.

Are you ready to take the first step of your career in Digital Administration? We have an exciting opportunity in our client’s head office. You’ll be joining a friendly and hardworking team with lots of opportunity to progress.

You’ll be coached and mentored throughout your apprenticeship whilst working towards your diploma.

What might a typical day in this job look like?

This will be a varied role and you will be providing direct support to the business and you will be an integral part of the team. You will be responsible for general admin duties such as answering telephones, responding to queries and keeping all records up to date.

You will be working with a great deal of digital applications in this role, including databases, electronic diaries and various other software packages which will allow you to develop IT skills.

What will I learn?

During your first year, you will work toward your diploma in digital application support. This will be done through work based learning. You will have both a mentor in the workplace as well as your own assessor to support you through your qualification. You will get real life work experience whilst learning with the added bonus of getting paid for it too!

You will become computer literate throughout your time here.
You will develop exceptional customer service skills.
