Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Digital Applications Support Apprentice to work within our head office alongside the directors to help set up and implement digital processes with the view of becoming the expert over time. We are looking for an apprentice who is an excellent communicator and can work efficiently both on their own initiative and as part of our team. You will play a role in the office dealing with day to day tasks, using inhouse operating systems. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in Microsoft packages various collaborative technologies. Having a good telephone manner is desirable, in return you will gain practical experience in a professional manner in all areas within our growing business.

 

Responsibilities

As an apprentice you will be working towards your SCQF level 6 diploma in Digital applications support. You will be helping our in various areas of the business where a wide range of digital applications will be used. Some of your responsibilities can include:

  • Help set up digital filing system
  • Help set up digital communication channels
  • Help set up and run digital accounting software
  • Answer incoming calls
  • Inputting all site paperwork on completion of works and issuing to clients using collaborative technologies
  • Ensure all documents are stored digitally for compliance purposes
  • Prepare site signage and paperwork
  • Assist the team with digital admin support
  • Data inputting information on our internal systems
  • Issue client with job specific paperwork
  • Generate plans and reports
  • Maintain and update the website
  • Use design software to help create social media posts

 

 

What qualifications or qualities are required

  • Use if digital applications such as Microsoft excel, word, teams & outlook essential
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Ability to work well within a team as well as autonomously
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to organise, schedule and adapt work tasks to meet changing situations
  • Ability to pay attention to detail and maintain accuracy
  • The ability to communicate with clients using collaborative technologies (teams, outlook, etc)
  • Post updates on the company social media platforms and website
