Digital Business Administrator
We are a small company that specialises in building electrical control panels, we are based in the North West of Glasgow in Drumchapel.
We now employee 10 full-time members of staff across our office and workshops. Over the years we have continued to enjoy expansion in the company and due to this we are now looking to recruit a modern apprentice in an admin assistant role.

The role involves working as part of a team to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the office, undertaking basic administration work as well as customer service duties.
What will I learn?
Initially, the role will involve general office duties which include :
– Answering incoming calls
– Receiving mail
As there will be scope to learn on the job with onsite training in the systems we use our ideal candidate will take on more responsibilities as they get to know and understand their job role, these include:
– Creating new jobs and raising purchase orders
– Matching up deliveries received with purchase orders
– Progressing material deliveries with our suppliers
– Liaising with our customers regarding deliveries
The candidate will be reporting to our procurement/admin assistant who will supervise their initial start and provide ongoing training on-site in relation to the computer software packages we use. Additional training will also be provided via a training provider in relation to the modern apprenticeship.
